SOLAR FARM PROJECT (PHASE ONE): The project cargo team at Demanko is proud to have arranged the final mile solution for our freight forwarder friend and client. The components for the solar farm were imported via ocean freight in several 40’DV containers. We picked up the containers from the seaport and stripped them at our warehouse, where we stored them for a few weeks while the construction site was preparing to receive the shipment. We arranged flatbed delivery to the rural site in the beautiful green mountain state of Vermont. Once on site, our rigging team used an off-road forklift/ lull to bring the pallets from the street up a dirt road to the field where the solar farm will be constructed. Demanko’s solution based approach creates a predictable outcome that our partners can rely on. Stay tuned for phase two of the project coming in the spring of 2021!
