The Demanko project cargo team arranged the step deck pickup from the shippers door in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to our transload facility in the garden state of New Jersey. We pulled the empty Steam Ship Line (SS Line) equipment 40′ Flat Rack (FR) from the port terminal in New York for loading. From there, our team of riggers secured the crates to the flat rack for ocean transit according to the National Cargo Bureau (NCB) requirements. All done the Demanko way, with safety first! Respect for the valuable cargo and the most valuable component of all, the people, is the Demanko way. Weather it is the folks at the shipping location, the families in their cars while traveling over the road or the long shore-men at the port and the crew at sea, our work can impact the lives of so many.
