Following up our phase one post. The project cargo team at Demanko put together the final mile solution for our Freight Forwarder friend and client. These oversized crated glass panels came into the east coast in multiple open top containers and needed to be held until the construction site was ready to take delivery. We pulled the Out-of-Gauge (OOG) open tops (OT) from the terminal, and stored at our warehouse. The final delivery was to a residential construction site in Massachusetts. This one had some logistical challenges, over-height, over weight and delivery to a restricted access residential neighborhood. Careful planning and teamwork, from the heavy haul drivers, riggers, crane operator and the installation crew made the deliveries safe and efficient.
