The project cargo team at Demanko put together a file mile solution for our Freight Forwarder friend and client. These oversized crated glass panels came into the east coast in multiple open top containers and needed to be held until the construction site was ready to take delivery. We pulled the Out-of-Gauge (OOG) open tops (OT) from the seaport terminal, transloaded, stored at our facility.
From there, the final delivery was made to a construction site in Massachusetts. This one had some logistical challenges, over-height, overweight and delivered to a restricted access job site through a residential neighborhood. Careful planning and teamwork, from the heavy haul drivers, riggers, crane operator and the installation crew made the deliveries safe and efficient.
