The ports and terminals of New York and New Jersey are dealing with yet another snowstorm! Most of the terminals are closed due to the weather and need time for snow and ice removal. Once the terminals reopen we can expect driver wait times at approximately 3-4 hours. Some drivers may see upwards of 6-8 hour of waiting time due to the containers being buried in the snow. This can cause drivers to be voided out. Currently availability is out till the end of February and beginning of March but could change depending if mother nature cooperates. This is a fluid situation as many external factors are impacting the movement of full containers and chassis.
