Happy Tuesday “Freight Friends”! Today is a special day in New England as it is opening day for Boston baseball! We celebrate to start of the baseball season with all the pageantry of the first game festivities. In honor of opening day, we are highlighting a special delivery of infield dirt our team provided to Boston’s historic baseball field.
We are honored to arrange the delivery of multiple flatbed loads of supersacks containing soil specially prepared for Boston’s historic baseball field. The deliveries were made in the morning hours and offloaded in the street where security had blocked off traffic and parking for the trucks. We then carried the palletized supersacks by the forklift into the ballpark and staged them in the infield. Advanced planning and teamwork across multiple organizations played a huge role in this solution-based delivery.
It is an amazing time of year as warming weather is right around the corner and we get to enjoy spectacular sights, sounds, and smells of the historic ball parks across North America. The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, the smell of fresh cut grass and you cannot forget the ice-cold beer and hotdogs.
